Education and career
Jérôme Stubler began his career in 1989 at Freyssinet (a Vinci Construction group subsidiary), where he oversaw operations for the Normandy Bridge, the Iroise Bridge, the Hibernia offshore oil rig and the Vasco de Gama Bridge in Portugal.
He was appointed Technical Director in 1996 before taking charge of major projects in 2022, developing in particular the company’s nuclear business and setting up Nuvia – Soletanche Freyssinet’s subsidiary in the nuclear industry.
In January 2009, he became CEO of Freyssinet and of Terre Armée, and Chairman of Nuvia. In July 2012, he was made a director and CEO of Soletanche Freyssinet and became Chairman of Soletanche Bachy.
In July 2014, he was appointed CEO of Vinci Construction, becoming Chairman of Vinci Construction in late 2014.
He joined ENGIE in January 2021 as Deputy CEO and was subsequently appointed Chief Executive Officer of Equans.
Jérôme Stubler is a graduate of École Polytechnique and of École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers.
He was appointed President of Equans in October 2022.
