Didier Casas is a graduate of Institut d’Études Politiques de Grenoble (IEP) (1992). He holds a DEA postgraduate diploma in law (1993) and is a former student of École Nationale d’Administration (ENA) (1996-1998). He began his career in 1994 as a parliamentary assistant, before joining France’s Conseil d’État (Supreme Administrative Court) in 1998, first as an auditor and then, on leaving ENA, as a ‘Master of Requests’. He was a government commissioner (public prosecutor) to the litigation assembly and to the other divisions of the Conseil d’État between 2004 and 2007, before joining the Board of Dexia Crédit Local as General Secretary in 2008.
He joined Bouygues Telecom on 1 March 2011 as Head of Regulation and Public Affairs and was appointed Executive Vice-President in 2016. He was twice President of the French Telecoms Federation, from May 2015 to June 2016 and then from March 2018 to May 2019. From February to May 2017, Didier Casas was a member of Emmanuel Macron’s presidential election campaign team before resuming his functions at Bouygues Telecom. He joined the TF1 group on 1 November 2020 as General Counsel.
Didier Casas was appointed Group General Counsel on 10 October 2022 and has joined the Group Management Committee.
