The TF1 group is a leading player in the production, editing and broadcasting of televisual content in France and Europe. TF1’s business activities are divided into two segments: the Media segment includes its unencrypted television channels (TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Séries Films and LCI), its theme television channels (Ushuaia TV, Histoire TV, TV Breizh and Série Club), TF1+, its free streaming platform for family entertainment and news, TFOU MAX, its on-demand platform for young viewers, and the advertising sales unit TF1 PUB. Together, these form a one-of-a-kind ecosystem able to address both the expectations of all types of audience and the needs of advertisers. The group also has a hand in music production and live events thanks to Muzeek One. The Production segment, which includes Newen Studios, brings together over 50 creative companies and labels in France and internationally. It creates and distributes programmes of all genres for all sector players, from public and private TV channels to digital platforms, using its unique expertise and its diverse brands and talent.

Uniting people

Given the divisions in today’s society, TF1 wants to unite people across France as they spend time together and share thrilling moments thanks to a programme catalogue that appeals to all audience categories and promotes national cohesion. These programmes nurture French popular culture, with recurring main characters, values and stories that become shared cultural references, whilst also encouraging democratic debate, fuelled by thoroughly researched, respectable news content that people can rely on. In this way, the TF1 group is helping to bring the country together as its work contributes to the national interest.

Thanks to its unique position in the French TV broadcasting landscape, the TF1 group continues to take a leading role at a time when radical economic, technological and social change is drastically transforming the media sector and society as a whole. The Group is determined to drive sector-wide change by keeping pace with the massive growth in on-demand use by the general public and providing the quality advertising inventory that brands need.

The TF1 group’s ambition is therefore to establish itself as the go-to free-to-air destination on the TV screen for high-quality news and family entertainment in France, whilst consolidating its leading position in linear TV and the advertising market. This is what drives its industrial, editorial and cultural ambitions: “TF1, Uniting Our Nation”.
